Before birthday dinner at 37 weeks and 4 days
We also had our final prenatal appointment with our Doula, Jessica. The next time we see her could be Baby D's official birthday! Not only did Jessica answer tons of questions, and help us to finalize our birth plan for the hospital, but she also showed off her creative side with a bit of henna art for the belly. Henna is an ink that stains the skin temporarily, much like tea stains cloth. It was a great opportunity to honor Baby D's home for the past 9 months. He/She must have really enjoyed it too, because there was dancing in the belly practically the whole time! Jessica's art was really amazing, and what was more amazing was that she could do it with such a mobile canvas!
So the process begins
And we have the final product!We also have a doctors appointment at the end of this week, and will continue to see her weekly till the baby comes. Hopefully in the next post I'll have more updates on our medical progress, and possibly some nursery pictures!
