High Country Lo

Mom had to sit out most of ski season this year, but now that Logan is here and everyone is feeling healthy, we decided to get one day on the slopes before the season ended. The whole family went up to our friends Danny and Wendy's condo in Silverthorne for the night, and Dad and Logan hung out in the lodge the next day while Mom got in a few turns at Loveland. Logan was a hit with everyone who passed her by in the lodge, and Mom impressed with skiing only 3 weeks after giving birth!
Enjoying the scenery from Danny and Wendy's balcony

Before we went to the mountain, Bowman was sure to teach Logan all about skiing

Just reading about skiing makes me tired!

Chillin' in the lodge

So many fun visitors!

Over the past couple of weeks we have gotten so much love from our friends and family. Here just a few of our many visitors
Mom's Cousin Tyler
Our fabulous Doula, Jessica
Mom's cousin Nancy and her friend Greg
My first play date (sort of) with Parker, our friends Heather and Tom's baby. Parker is a month older than Logan

Clean as a whistle!

Though we couldn't give her a full on bath yet, Logan enjoyed her first sponge bath in the sink at 1 week and 5 days old. We waited until a warm day so she wouldn't freeze, and she did great! She got a massage from mommy after the bath to warm her up too.  Luxurious day for the little lady!

Naps with Mommy

They say that you should nap whenever the baby does, and Mom takes that advice to heart! The Boppy makes a very comfortable pillow for Mom's head as well as for Logan's. Dad is pretty good at documenting these occasions too, unbeknown to us.

Some Logan Singles

Home Sweet Home

We were released from the hospital on Friday afternoon, and were so excited to get home and introduce Logan to more family and friends! Brother Bowman took a minute to figure out what was going on, but quickly warmed up and now checks on her every move. Nana J and Pops were in town for a few days after we got home, and Poppa Sam and Nana Nan arrived shortly after they left. We feel so lucky to have our grandparents able to come visit us and help us get adjusted! We are loving life as a new family, and Momma and Daddy are loving having some time off to spend QT with our QTPie!

Life begins fashonably late!

So after 42 weeks and 1 day in Momma's belly Logan Irene Davis finally graced us with her beautiful presence! We worked diligently for almost exactly 25 hours from induction to delivery, and it was worth every minute. She arrived at 12:13 pm on 3.31.2011, and weighed in at 7lbs 11oz and was 19 in long. Mom and Dad could have sworn she was gonna be a boy, but this beautiful baby girl is indeed the biggest blessing we could have asked for!
We arrive at St. Joseph's Hospital at 7:30 am3/30. Happy Anniversary!

Lo arrives in our arms 12:13 pm 3/31. Happy birthday!
