Just bear with me....

I know you stalkers are going crazy for an update, and we promise to get better about posting regularly. Our new resolution is to make a post every Sunday night, (we'll see how that goes). For now I've got to get you up to speed on what we've been up to, so here goes nothing!
We went on our first family hike in Mathew Winters Park. Morrison, CO
Momma's friends Porter and Eamon were in town from Chicago and we had a great time meeting them! Logan looks a little skeptical, but she did have a good time, promise!
Our second family hike in Evergreen, CO at Elk Meadow. Logan holds on real tight when we hike...even while snoozin"!
Logan's first trip to Red Rocks! After hanging out with our friends in the parking lot Momma stayed to see Ray Lamontagne play, and Logan and Dad headed home. We didn't have the right ear protection for Logan to stay for the show!
Momma's dear friend Leigh Ann Condor Trebesh and her family are living in Winter Park, CO for the summer, so we went up to visit/meet them. Leigh Ann and her husband had their first child, Haley Grace, 4 days after Logan was born. Momma and LA were besties in the 8th grade, and hadn't seen in other in about 10 years! We had a baby swap for this picture.
Logan (left) and HG (right) became fast friends, while the Momma's had fun photographing the girls and catching up
Momma and Logan took our first trip to the Denver Zoo. Logan didn't see very many animals as it was around her nap time, but Momma enjoyed herself!
Gotta protect those eyes at the zoo!
We also had our first trip to the pool with our friend Tabitha, and her son Oleg. Logan was stylin'!
Logan much preferred the pool deck to the actual water. It was chilly!
Logan is more like her daddy every day. She even sleeps with her knees bent like he does

These are just a few cute ones we couldn't resist including!

Doctor appointment, massage class, and a family visitor

Mom and Logan both had our 6 week checkups recently. We both checked out great! Logan has grown to be 9 lbs 13 oz and is a little over 22 inches. She also got some vaccines, and the shots may have been harder to suffer through for Mom than for Logan!

In a much happier appointment, we attended an infant massage class at Mom's massage therapy school . Mom has training in infant massage, so this was a great opportunity for Dad to learn and bond with Logan. Dad did great, and Logan loved the massage! She is a girl after my own heart!
Mom's Uncle Peter,  (Nana J's older brother), was in Denver for business and stopped by to meet Logan. We hope to see him and the rest of his family this summer!

Mother's Day

How exciting to celebrate being a Mommy this weekend! The weather was beautiful in Denver, so we went on a family picnic in the park by our house
Lo loved laying out in the sun!

Bowman loved the sun too!

My first dinner out at a restaurant. We went to PF Chang's Monday night for a belated Mother's Day dinner celebration

A Condensed Update

It's been a minute since we've done a new blog post, and it seems as though lots has happened since our last update! Here is a recap what has been going on in the Davis' household over the past few weeks:
Daddy gave me my first bottle at 3 weeks. We needed to be sure I would take one before Momma goes back to work
First bath in the tub at 3 weeks. Thank goodness that cord stump is gone.

Nice and warm out of the bath
First Easter. Thanks Cousin Nance for the Easter Bunny!
The family on Easter Sunday at Nancy's.
Don't be silly Daddy. I'm not a football!
With Uncle Sam on Easter.
I'm such a good sleeper. I'm up to 5 hours straight at night!
At my first party. Goodbye Glenn!

High Country Lo

Mom had to sit out most of ski season this year, but now that Logan is here and everyone is feeling healthy, we decided to get one day on the slopes before the season ended. The whole family went up to our friends Danny and Wendy's condo in Silverthorne for the night, and Dad and Logan hung out in the lodge the next day while Mom got in a few turns at Loveland. Logan was a hit with everyone who passed her by in the lodge, and Mom impressed with skiing only 3 weeks after giving birth!
Enjoying the scenery from Danny and Wendy's balcony

Before we went to the mountain, Bowman was sure to teach Logan all about skiing

Just reading about skiing makes me tired!

Chillin' in the lodge

So many fun visitors!

Over the past couple of weeks we have gotten so much love from our friends and family. Here just a few of our many visitors
Mom's Cousin Tyler
Our fabulous Doula, Jessica
Mom's cousin Nancy and her friend Greg
My first play date (sort of) with Parker, our friends Heather and Tom's baby. Parker is a month older than Logan
