We also had our final prenatal appointment with our Doula, Jessica. The next time we see her could be Baby D's official birthday! Not only did Jessica answer tons of questions, and help us to finalize our birth plan for the hospital, but she also showed off her creative side with a bit of henna art for the belly. Henna is an ink that stains the skin temporarily, much like tea stains cloth. It was a great opportunity to honor Baby D's home for the past 9 months. He/She must have really enjoyed it too, because there was dancing in the belly practically the whole time! Jessica's art was really amazing, and what was more amazing was that she could do it with such a mobile canvas!

Yay for birthdays!!
This weekend we celebrated a 31st birthday for this momma-to-be. Though I have to admit it was hard to focus on my birthday when we are mostly interested in the upcoming birthday of Baby D!
