Charleston Trip

We were fortunate enough to get to go home to SC for 9 days at the end of July to visit family.  First we hit up the annual Davis Beach week on The Isle of Palms. We got to see Nana Nann and Poppa Sam, and meet all of Daddy's extended family.

All the sublets with Uncle Mark. He just got back from MD Anderson where he underwent surgery to remove a tumor in his brain. We were so glad that he was able to join us at the beach, and that he was doing so well. Aunt L Beth got the kiddos all cool do-rags to wear so they could match Uncle Mark.

We even got to meet/see some of Mama's old friends from high school. Trina has a little boy named Jack, and Kelsie's daughter is Sloan. Those two kids are only a month apart and will be 1 this year. Mama hasn't seen those girls in 7+ years
